Do you want to live an intercultural experience, learn or improve your Spanish, get to know new people and places, all while supporting a social or ecological project as a volunteer?

ACI-Costa Rica offers you the opportunity to get an in-depth impression of Central American culture and reality through six months or a whole year of volunteer service in Costa Rica.

Our programs:

• Offer challenging intercultural learning experiences.
• Contribute to the social and ecological development of the communities we work with as well as to the personal growth of our participants.
• Promote understanding, equity, tolerance and peace among the people of the world.

We offer exchanges for people from all around the world via the International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE) federation. Furthermore, if you’re a citizen of the European Union, you can apply to the European Voluntary Service, Italians and Germans with us have the option to do their Civil Service in Costa Rica, and the latter may also benefit from the “Weltwärts”-program of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.
